The concept of using a “bee-vac” or bee vacuum for honey bee colony removal is well-established, with a wide range of options available in the market today.
Drawing from years of experience and extensive annual removal operations, Honey Bee Group has undertaken the task of enhancing existing designs and incorporating necessary customizations. Given the demanding nature of bee removals, often carried out under extreme conditions, our focus was on creating an exceptionally durable and lightweight bee-vac that would prioritize the well-being of the bees.

During the process of removing and relocating bee colonies, it is crucial to ensure the bees are constantly and properly ventilated, as they experience stress throughout. Our bee-vacuum addresses this need by facilitating effective airflow during removals.
Additionally, our vacuum’s lid can be opened and positioned in a “transport” mode, allowing for safe transportation of the bees back to your apiary, prior to placing them in the hive with the brood. This approach guarantees a successful and ethically responsible relocation.

Perspex inspection window provides visibility into the state of your bees, while minimizing the risk of breakage.
Full-length aluminum corners provide enhanced protection against impacts and contribute to the durability and performance.
Stainless steel cage (cartridge) guarantees durability and hygiene.
Aluminum cradle facilitates secure and precise fitting of the bee-cartridge while minimising the weight.
The auto-close gate automatically shuts the cartridge when lifted out of the cradle, securely containing the bees.
As an option it can be fitted with I-bolts for slings, simplifying hoisting and lifting tasks when working at heights.
